If I get an iTunes account and download some songs, can I just then burn them to cd and play them in the car?

Just to make sure, my car cd player will not play MP3 so its all good still?

Yes, you can burn a regular audio CD from iTunes.

You can also rip it back as DRM-free MP3.

Make a New Playlist Folder - drag the tracks you want into the folder. Insert a CD. Burn. Done. (on a Mac at least - have no idea what Gatesian Hell awaits you if you try it on a Windows PC)
