Five minutes later, I was £225 down. So, please tell me I am not the only one?
You certainly aren't the only one to lose. Does knowing this bring your money back?Spam said:
GOLDEN RULE #1: Never bet/gamble when your drunk!
Which is what makes online casinos dangerous.I used to go into a high street casino regularly on a friday/saturday night, knew my limits (£20) and stuck to them.
I can remember the staff regularly refusing entrance to members who were drunk - even got refused myself one night when I didn't think I was drunk.
This is a few years ago now, so I don't know whether the entrance policy is quite so strictly monitored these days.
I know it's a game of luck but i've played in casinos a few times and online casinos a couple of times and i have to say that I lose a lot more online compared to a proper casino. The amount of times a blackjack dealer online gets blackjack is unnerving hence why i'll never play online casinos anymore.
I think you two have hit the nail on the head there, I never bet with online casinos, it would just be too easy to be rigged and virtually impossible for any governing body to find out that it is fixed.
Unless they analyse the squillions of lines of code that make up the online games which is never going to happen.

I should add that playing against other players is probably more "trustworth" eg poker.
Only problem with that is how do you know they are actually real people? Wouldnt surprise me if at least 1/2 the players were automated, possibly even with "fixed" cards...
The tiny amount that the house takes form the pot hardly seems enough to pay for all those expensive adverts and sponsored tournaments I keep seeing.
