Why do I get them? I always have. My job is varied, interesting, autonomous and challenging. But still, when I hear the music for Heartbeat come on ITV it signals anxiety to course through my bones.

What do you lot do on a Sunday night (other than whinge about it on PH) to take your mind off work tomorrow?

drunk = potential answer for when the gf goes to bed shortly!

I felt ill on saturday, was very ill last night/early morning and am just starting to feel better so I can go to work tomorrow. Joy.

Oh - I can't listen to the Heartbeat music at anytime without wanting to murder someone. I think that stems from it being on TV on Sunday night when I was at school

Wow!. Somebody else that gets Sunday blues. I thought it was just me but you describe it to perfection. The tingle of anxiety. I think it comes from being a kid... knowing I hadn't done my homework. Dreaming up some bullst excuse, or dreading exams. No matter how happy I have been I always get Sunday blues

I've got it today. But then I'm flying to the US for the 1st time tomorrow for work. I'm gonna be away for 10 days. Holidays dont worry me. But this appears to have got me all anxious for some reason. Possibly it's 10 days away from the Hamster. Oh and the Other Half...

Mine begins early evening, actually, thinking about it, more like 5pm as then Sunday is nothing more than a weeknight with "school" the next day!

Not worried. I have no idea whatsoever what i will be doing tomorrow, but i enjoy the job i do, the people i work with are great, and my line managers are 100% behind me. In fact, at times I would prefer to be at work!

I really like it actually, unlike the programme itself (which i never really bothered with). I used to watch the intro every week in the hope that they'd play the full theme, rather than the crappy chopped-down 30 second versiongetmecoat

Yeah, I hate Sundays too. Accidentally flicking over onto Antiques Roadshow, Songs of Praise or Last of the Summer Wine is a signal that the weekend has ended and its back to work tomorrow.

Just Sunday`s? I used to have a job that even on a Friday night I could`nt enjoy the weekend because of the nausea and panic I had about Monday morning. I left in the end and now, what will be will be - until you mentioned it I had`nt given tomorrow morning a thought.

Now you have though, I`m going through what I need to do and how I need to do it.....thanks!
