Following on from all the (nowhere) near disasters some people on here have experienced . . .

I was on a plane which could possibly crash at some point in the future. My car may even crash at some point in the future or hit the pavement or something exciting but not really to do with me in any way at all.

Has anyone else got any exciting experiences which are completely unrelated to disasters or near disasters in the past present or in the future?

I almost crossed a road today, which could have resulted in my being run over by a bus.

Luckily, I nipped back home and got the car in the nick of time.

I have a collection of home-made nuclear missiles in the basement, with the bodywork constructed from a papier-mache-like composite of hessian and pigeon st. If I have to launch them in the rain they may go soggy and go off course and blow up the wrong city. But I don't think they will.

Pidge, coming from you, I totally believe that. I can't believe you don't have a wet weather solution though.

I once went to the Ideal Home Exhibition and had a pint on the Guinness stand. Exactly twenty four hours later an IRA bomb hidden in a rubbish bin exploded and blew the stand to bits. I'd put some rubbish in that same bin.

I still drink Guinness though drink
