British-focused kids books for budding car nuts

[oldbanger]

Can anyone recommend any good kids books (especially for very young readers) with cars, lorries or tractors in? The ones I've come across so far seem to be about US vehicles.

My wife bought me some lovely ones a year or so ago, can't remember what it was called. Proper yesteryear thing, old cars with personalities etc.

I'll have a rummage upstairs tomorrow.

Rory the racing car does some books I think. Same sort of thing as Bob the builder.

There is a childrens range of Top Gear books in WHS with suitably petrolhead material
