either mmc, nmc or mnc.
Recieved a call in work yesterday asking for me, guy wouldnt say what it was about, and as soon as he found out it wasa business line, he got reluctant to talk, and would try and contact me another way....but i cant work out what its for, i didnt take the call. the only number that i use for things is work, never give out my mobile number, so ill never hear from them again....but what is it, i googled the letters and none of them would relate anyway to me, the only one i can think of that would relate to me is mitsubishi motor company(own a mitsi) but why would they want to contact me, and why would they get all defensive and hang up when finding out its a work number, makes no sense at all

Mitsubishi motors corporation. Maybe they over-ordered on Evo X and need to give them away??

MMC, Marsh & McLennan Companies?? Providing advice and solutions in risk, strategy and human capital. Very very long shot as there are bound to be hundreds of companies or organisations abbrevied with MMC. Even weirder that they are reluctant to talk on your business line. Perhaps its another job aquisition of some sort.

Sounds to me like one of the numerous dodgy finance companies who get hold of your name and number and ring it to try and flog you a mortgage or finance or something.

Mumbling Mortgage Company?

Yes I believe this is a dodgy set up involving the selling of shares in dodgy or non-existent companies. Barge pole, touch, do not.

Contacted my dad once and I gave him the same advice.

I've jusr ran MMC through Experian.

They are a recruitment company - however I'd be carefull there is a winding up petition and appointment of voluntary liquidator register on their account.
