Salary - Exchange Rate Protection
Discussion
So here's a question for all you expat PHers. Do you any of you have an exchange rate protection clause in your contracts? Reason being I am paid in GBP and live in Dubai where the currency is linked to the US$...so bad news for me. How does your scheme work and what rate is used as the base rate?
Mrs John used to work for Emirates and had a similar clause in her contract but we appear to have slung it out when she left...usefully.

Nah, I'm a 'Staffie' on a variable exchange rate so no protection - however, I get paid in Euros so I'm laughing TBH!Mrs John used to work for Emirates and had a similar clause in her contract but we appear to have slung it out when she left...usefully.
