Muswell Hill - Copetts RD- N10
Discussion
Just ask my brother who lives at the top of the road; said he had not heard of any problems with the area.
Will be a short bus ride to the Northern line at Highgate/East Finchley for the City. Haven't used the line in ages so can't comment on how good/bad the Northern line is.

The south end (towards muswell hill broadway) is much nicer, and also a shorter bus ride to east finchley or highgate tube. Much nearer the shops and pubs.
North end is not bad but doesn't feel like muswell hill, more like friern barnet
South end is pretty expensive, pretty much Highgate prices, this is reflected by the type of shops there (posh cake shops/bakeries, M & S food shop)

Just checked it against where my parents lived. All private normally changing hands for £300,000 + and it states that its a poor area - b
ks! Far too generalised. Public transport links aren't that brilliant, nearest tube East Finchley maybe 10mins bus ride, not too bad to get into town outside of rush hour.
You really ought to visit the area and get a feel for it yourself, mix will vary. Creighton Ave end posh, North Circular end very much less so. I went to the local secondary school, grew up 5mins round the corner from Coppetts Road.
