UGH! My head is very sore and I've spent the last 10 minutes reading my messages from last night. Why oh why do we drunk dial?

It would appear I spent half of the night talking dribble to people, sending messages with horrific spelling that don't even make sense to me now. I can't even remember half of my conversations.

Surely there is a feature somewhere that stops you from doing this - like having to answer maths questions, if you can't do it you shouldn't be able to dial or text.

I know the solution is not to drink, but that would be boring.

We've all done it...

I expect the best solution may be to leave the phone at home! At least there is no chance of a drunken text incident.

I think Google or someone already offer this for email.

I had a lady friend that used to do this to me and its not nice to read the replies in the morning. She had a bit of a problem when she was drunk. IMO there are two types of drinker; those that drink to improve the their social imprssion and those that drink to forget. Generally the latter drinks until they can't drink anymore and then the brain has mood swings which brings on bouts of paraoia, depression and anger. A simple test is whether you can remember the night before. If you cannot, you're drinking too much drunk

If you are with a group and not driving ie you are going to be in a cab and dropped off for the night, you could use call barring so that you are unable to make outgoing calls. Then switch it on when your alltogehter. It won't stop the texts though hehe

You do realise tonight we will now all be trying that out whilst drunk and it will be all your fault when spurious slavering emails are being sent about?

In a way, I am lucky....my phone doesn't save my sent texts, unless I want it to....Thank god biggrin

As for calling people, thankfully the only time I have been pist enough to try, I only had his email address on my phone. Spent 40 mins, sitting on my mums staircase, after lossing my house keys, trying to get through to him, just to say 'I looooove yoouuuuuuu' paperbag

Ok, as long as you promise not to tell anyone wink

After the office party I ended up in a bedroom olympics session on my boss's desk (female boss) as I was 'making love' to the office girl from behind I photographed her and sent an MMC to my work colleague Dan. Unfortunately Dan then sent it to someone else who who sent it onto someone else who was also friends with this girl, and she forwarded it to the boss yikescry The rumour mill put me as the naughty boy. I thought I got away with it but just before lunchtime the girl that was on the receiving end of my lurve emptied a cup of vegetable soup over my head on the Monday and I was then given an unoficial non-recorded warning from the boss about company ethics and respect for fellow co workers boxedin

There was no cheers when I walked in like most like hearted workplaces would have, as I was working as a project manager for a MOD project and government institutions are a stiff-lipped affair. Instead all I got from everyone was rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes for the next few weeks. Oh man I still cringe thinking about it now hehe
