Best currency to take to Mexico?

[groucho]

I'm going in a couple of months time. What is the best currency to take with sterling sliding south? Dollars, Pesos, travellers Cheques, or something else?

Cheers.

US Dollars or Pesos to answer your question.

Avoid this currency

Just open a nationwide account and take the cash card and withdraw from machines.

Much easier and cheaper.
