Not one of the slidey keyboard ones running Windows mobile.

The standard battery life is less than 8hrs if you have it on email push and actually want to use it as is designed. I've bought a bigger battery and it's still only just usable, but I now have a brick in my pocket..

Absolute ste...

Edited to show the pic..

My Diamond cost me £50 to upgrade it on my contract, only paying £25 a month for the contract too.

No sure if the Touch Pro is available on any contracts at the moment. They both look the same but the Pro has the slidy keyboard and is slightly thicker.

Oh Noes! Mobile phone in having to be charged every night shocker! wink

I have an HTC TyTN II that does all that lot admirably. Plenty of web access / BT / email checking / phone call / WiFi and lasts a day without any problems. I can't understand why people would want a phone that goes for a week without a charge!

Anyway, if you drive or work in an office there's ample opportunity to plug it in for a quick charge smile

Deffinatly the Touch Pro - spare batteries are very cheap if its a problem of running out.

But there are alot of free to install mods to the OS that help the battery life. But short battery life (ie 24-48hrs) seem to be a thing of 3g phones, i get better battery life switching the 3G side off.

Have been using an HTC Touch Diamond/o2 Ignito for the last week and have been quite impressed with it. HTC Touch Pro is very similar but with a slide out keyboard.
I found the touch screen takes a bit of getting used to but won't be swapping back to my old phone.
It does everthing I need, word,xl,internet, wifi, email, music, etc. I think it is a great bit of kit.

BlackBerry Curve ticks all your boxes. It's a great piece of kit. Be wary of being first with the new models, stick to tried and trusted if you're a heavy user wink

Blackberry 8100 series - great kit and good battery life, if avoid Bluetooth. Had most BB/Treo/Palms, but this is best to date. Storm looks interesting but seems bigger and bulkier.

I have a touch pro (posting from it infact). It charges via usb so when I use it to connect my laptop to the net it charges, so battery life is never a problem. Check out xda-developers, plenty to read on there.
