Look out, they want to rewrite the books.

"'We have historians arriving from all over France, and all will produce hard facts concerning the battle, rather than rumours and speculation.
'At the very least the English forces acted dishonourably. The middle ages were a very violent time, of course, but some might accuse the English of acting like what might now be called war criminals.'"
What did they expect in the middle ages, pillow fights or sharp pointy things on sticks?
Anyway, hard facts they want? We won.

And what do the French know about warfare anyway?
They won't even consider military action until the Germans are ordering drinks in the cafes of Paris.
For further proof Google "French Military Victories" and hit "I'm feeling lucky"

Perhaps we should ask them for Normandy back. And Calais.
We should demand reparations for their outrageous act of 1066.I'm reading a history of the English Channel from Saxon times to WW2, and England and France were scrapping continually for centuries. Even if the countries were officially at peace, raiding parties from the Cinque ports would go over and duff up the Frogs just for sport

And the everlasting spat does all stem from 1066, amazingly.
