POLICE are growing concerned for a Fareham woman who has been missing for six days.

Paula Jane Poolton, of Course Park Crescent, Titchfield was last seen at lunchtime on Friday October 17 in Portsmouth.

Officers believe that the 40-year-old left Portsmouth and returned to Fareham that day.

She was last seen wearing brown trousers, a grey top and a white three-quarter length 60’s style coat with coloured piping.

Paula is described as being 5ft 4, of a slim build and with black hair. She was driving a black Peugeot 206, with the registration number HK54 KHH.

Detective Constable Paul Masters said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Paula’s welfare at this time.

“It is unusual for her to be gone for so long without contacting anyone and we would appeal for anyone that has seen her to get in touch with police as soon as possible.

“We would also encourage Paula to contact us if she sees this appeal.”

Anyone with any information should contact Fareham CID on 0845 045 45 45.

Sadly, Police are now at Swanwick Railway Station, where a woman's body has been discovered.
Doesn't look good.
Very sad!
