Watching it, heard him on radio4 this morning
And didn't he just completely refuse to answer any question he didn't like by speaking louder and LOUDER about something else entirely and drowning out the interviewer, as per his entire career.

first suprise to me, the army pays two thirds of my school fees because daddy is an officer
That made me laugh, he was trying to make out that it was a good thing that the state was paying 2/3rds of his fees trying to say he wasnt advantaged, but the fact is he'll join the army as an officer and always be three steps ahead of the man on the street who joined at 16.Marf said:

i liked the way he was arguing with kids, telling them they are nothing but scroungers (the private school ones) and when they where about to make a comeback "right chaps ill let you on yer way" and gets outta there.
I enjoyed how nobody at Henley would let him in, but when he went anyway people there wanted to talk to him.So who was the most defensive about their background, the private school boys who don't like the idea that their start in life has been bought, or the chavs who thought as they didn't work they couldn't be working class so must be middle?
