The official PH credit crunch money saving thread....
Discussion
Ok, some useful tips to beat the Credit crunch..
A few to start off with:-
1) When you have finished painting, after ensuring the lid is on tight, store the paint tin upside down...this will ensure that when you need it again even many years later, the paint will still be as good as new, as air can not get to it to dry it up...
2) Check your tyre pressures every so often, as under inflated tyres waste petrol..
3) If getting married.......don't get divorced.
4) If going into a theme park/event where there is an admission charge, hide a couple of friends in the boot and split the saving....(If they are not dead from the exhaust fumes)
5) Tell your young kids the ice cream man's chimes mean he has sold out for the day.
6) Save your outdated clothing it is bound to come back in fashion in thirty years.....
Any more........

Break a limb and spend a considerable amount of time off work but on full pay.
You'll be amazed at how much money you save by not going anywhere for 6 weeks.
At dinner time, close your eyes and reach into the freezer/food cupboard and grab the first five items that come to hand, you can play ready steady cook in your own kitchen, save money by using up old food and you might just broaden your culinary horizons. Especially if you happen to grab the ice blocks for your coolbox.

Dip them in batter, deep fry them and after a few seconds - hey presto you have perfect hollow cubes of batter. That's not really a tip is it?
Edit as they would make cubes not squares.

How is this thread official? Will it be a sticky? Have the site owners sanctioned it as official?
That wasn't the first thing that came in to my mind upon reading this thread. Perhaps you should contact PH admin directly to perish your grave concerns? It clearly looks to be worrying you somewhat!
