I get round the problem by not having a TV licence at all so (1) they are unlikely to annoy me and (2) even if they do, I'm not paying them anything anyway so it doesn't really matter.

You are a brave soul supermono, actually telling them you're doing it aswell.

Why, their (well, TV Licencing, their collection agents) inform me they caught 45000 people last year for not paying their licence fee, and in May they told me that 30000 of those were in April!

Infact, scratch that, it seems from their own lies threatening letters they only work 6 weeks a year. Just make sure you withhold your funds then

£11 pcm? I never considered it in those terms before. I do know I give 60 quid to Sky each month, however. Quite why I have'nt the foggiest.

Radio 4 on its tod (with the exception of Lesbians Hour) is worth the money.
