Should you, or should you not reheat rice?

is it safe? what are the arguments against?

and if you shouldn't how does that microwave Uncle bens stuff get away with it

i do it and iv never been ill once by it.

What do the chinese do, do they just make more or keep eating it cold? thats what baffles me.

They only say it because they want you to buy more.

I think it's fine to do it once, as long as you make sure it's properly heated through. If you leave rice too long (no more than a day), it is *apparently* a major breeding ground for bacteria.

From what I have been led to believe in the past it is not so much the reheating of it, it is to do with was it immediately cooled by plunging in cold water on once it was cooked.

If it was not and left to cool slowly that is when it becomes dodgy to eat and can make you ill. If it is cooled quickly as they do for take-aways then reheating it is not a problem.
