All of you. You know who you are.
Stop feeding the thickies for crying out loud.
The paper tells lies and contradicts itself, but all half of PH seem to be able to do is focus on the bold bit, start crying and shouting
"Jesus-the country is a fking dump"
"fking hell. Send them back the sponging bds"
"And guess who is paying for all this out of my hard earned tax money rolleyestongue outulloff:" etc etc.

What on Gods sweet earth are you doing reading that stupid st paper anyway?
Stop believing lies. Stop it.
Lies are not true.
If you see something in that wretched paper that seems a little unusual- then READ THE FULL fkING ARTICLE FOR fkS SAKE.

Or just make it easier. Have a 'Start Daily Mail Related Topic' link that creates a ready made thread with most of this inserted, just leaving you to type the appropriate headline.

It could then go into it's own sub forum where others can select from the response they want as though it's a poll.

Would save everyone a lot of time.

Why restrict your rant to the Mail?

Other than the fact it rhymes with 'Wail' and it's the 'cool' thing to slate, it's absolutely no different to any other paper (or indeed form or media).

Lets just say "stop quoting the media" if we want to get rid of the bullst and sensationalist clap trap.

Because it is the shining beacon of all the st that is wrong with the media.
It is the worst of the worst. THe most blatant of the liars and the one that gets quoted on hear with the tag line "this country is going to st" every two minutes.
Is that good enough a reason for you?
Oh- and I wouldn't call it the 'Daily Wail' because I am not a .

Not really wink

It's only the shining beacon of all that is wrong with the media because it's said to be so on this site. They all shine equally in stness, it's only the style and political affiliations that change.

The only thing more infuriating than the tripe this rag comes out with is the amount of people who believe it.

Too true.

It is not the same as the other papers, not by a long chalk. Its standards of journalism are ridiculously low, its politics are so right-wing it would make the BNP blush, its crusades against immigrants, single mothers and the European Union are hopelessly out of date, its fact-checking is slipshod, and worst of all it deliberately misleads the reader with the way it presents partial arguments. All newspapers have bias, but The Mail omits or hides key facts, or stretches the implications so far it loses all credibility. Other papers take positions and argue for them: The Mail actually radiates reactionary hatred.

The particular danger with The Mail is that, somewhere in its image, it has retained some vestige of a 'quality' newspaper: it positions itself between the red-tops and the broadsheets, and is so tempting...."I know I should get The Times, but can't be arsed to make the effort to use my intelligence, and I'll not be seen dead with a Star, so I'll get a Mail"....and so it assumes some utterly false and dangerous respectability, instead of being shown up for the thought-free, illiterate, poisonous st-sheet that it really is.

I would rather read The Sun, The Mirror, even The Guardian than that rag.

Sorry blindswelledrat, this was your rant, I seem to have got carried away....

No-that was perfect.
Exactly what I was trying to say- but blind fury just makes me swear like a mail-believer and start sweating and making spittle fly out of my mouth.
You saved me having to mention it again.

HE'S AN IMMIGRANT!!! BURN HIM!!!

(noting the sarcasm there - I am of the belief that the Daily Mail is a disease which has a greater significance than any superbug or plague.)
