Sparked by the stop linking to the daily mail thread.

Wondering what the breakdown is between people who think it is the spawn of Beelzebub, and others who actually like it smile

Sorry I feel I have to vote yes. My father is 84, buys it daily and spends all his time sitting in the kitchen being amused by it. It's keeping his spirits up biggrin

The mother in law had a copy when we visited last weekend.

A quick look through revealed that most of the stories weren't that dissimilar to many threads on PH.

The headlines echoed the same views on society and held similar things to be important. Blame seemed to be directed at the same people, solutions proposed from similiar sources. Yes, some views were weak on facts and strong on sensationalism or some personal or political standpoint, but again this is like many posts on here.

As far as being moronic is concerned is it any worse than any other source of popular news?

Can't see why it attracts the vitriol that it does.

Right my whole take on it is quite simple. There is good and bad in all tabloids.

As for PH, well this is one huge bus full of nutters, most can't make their own mind up about things so they just join in with everyone else and start sgging something off because it's fashionable to do so at the time.

I managed to press "get results" before I voted doh! Which is just as well because there wasn't a sitting on the fence option which I would have took.

If you need to ask on a forum whether it is good or bad, you will probably enjoy reading it.
