Heading over the Florida in a couple of weeks with my bro, and although we have both been a couple of times before, I was wondering if the PH collective could suggest anything fun (outside of the normal theme parks) to do out there.

We've got a few American football games lined up, so our Saturday's and Sunday's are taken care of, I'm thinking good bars to go to (we'll cover a lot of ground in the 10 days we are there), fun things to do (Daytona, NASA etc) and anything else you've done out there that you enjoyed.

Cheers

Most of Florida is a bit of a sh!thole IME so go as far south as possible and do the Keys or travel north and go to Georgia which is altogether nicer! smile

I'm off to Florida for my first ever trip to the states in a few weeks. Anything worth seeing in Orlando?

We land on a Thursday and have to be in Miami on Sunday, and TBH if the Raiders weren't playing the Dolphins we might have gone to LA or somewhere else, but as this is the first chance we've had to see our NFL teams face off with one another it made sense.

Going to head to Key West for a couple of night prior to the game, and all the way to Jacksonville for another match the following weekend.

Seeing you there with your bro, you may like this....

Somewhere on International Drive (and probably loads of other places too..!) there is a gun shop. You can browse in the shop, pick any weapon you want, buy some ammo and let rip with it on their self enclosed range! A few bucks will get you 50 rounds or so, which will fill a few mags. I was in the forces at the time, so was confident with doing this safely, but the had advisors on hand. A bloke in the next section to us on the range had a dirty harry style '44. We had a std issue Baretta, 200 rounds which gave us about half an hours entertainment. shoot

A bit different from get felt up by Mickey Mouse!

Also find out about the Auto Toy Store in Miami. Nothing to do with toys, but extreme automotive exotica. If that doesn't float your boat, you're in the wrong forums!
