You know, where he goes down the gian waterslide on his way home....passes his Barclatcard over the terminal instad of swiping it


I've watched the advert a couple of times, and all I can conclude is....he must keep his Barclar=ycard up his arse!!!

Nice advert, but I'm a little confused by this contact-less technology.

Doesn't that just mean that people could skim your card simply by walking past you?

Yes, in theory. Max £10 spend on contactless though. If it's any more than that, you have to put your PIN in. I would also imagine that sudden multiple payments by this method would be flagged and alert Barclaycard to it. One would hope.

And the distance it works at is actually rather small - only an inch or so.
