How do.
I need some suggestions for decent music for an awards do we're staging this week. The music guy turned out to be rubbish...
We need a section of a track to be played each time an award-winner makes his/her way up to the stage. It needs to be fairly pumping and triumphant and not grate too much after 20 plays.
So far I've had Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros and Wake Up by Arcade Fire rejected as too grandiose, but Battle Without Honor or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei (from Kill Bill) got a few thumbs up.
I await the collective PH musical genius to save our evening. Thanks in advance!

No one? I'm surprised, I thought the PH lot were so cultured when it came to music. Come on, you've won a big award, you're on your way up to claim your prize, basking in your own awesomeness - what do you want to hear as the soundtrack?

Ok Phil, what you need is "When You Were Young" by The Killers.

Mods, you can close this one now.

For an awards 'sting' I would be looking at some Propellerheads, Chemical Brothers or the like, usually what we use.
