I have some land behind my house that I own.
It backs on to a field that someone keeps cows on. (God knows who)
They regularly wander over onto my land....its ok, keeps the grass down.
Anyhow...one died in the last week sometime.

What the hell do I do with a dead cow?

Set up one of those cameras that films over a couple of weeks and watch what happens to it, could be interesting.

Didn't anyone tell you cows hibernate over the winter, rather like tortoises? Sounds like this one fell asleep before it could finish making its nest.

Do the decent thing, line an extra large wooden crate with lots of newspaper, put the cow in it and keep it somewhere reasonably warm. Come the spring, the cow with wake up, fit and well. Then you can slaughter it and have a supply of steak for the summer. Perfect.

Are you a Starwars fan?

If not the following line will be lost on you, but now is your ideal chance to rein-act the scene:

"Hang on, kid. This may smell bad, but it'll keep you warm"

Find out who owns the field and tell them to remove dead cow off your land...
