Holiday - Pembrokeshire

Mrs Samcat has suggested Pembrokeshire for a week's holiday next Whit; she is thinking about a cottage of some description, is there anywhere to avoid? I don't want to spend a week surrounded by chavs, or staring at an oil refinery. We've got three young children so a beach nearby would be handy.

St Davids is nice. Great beaches & coastal walks too.

We've just come back from Dale, while Milford Haven (the oil refinery place) is on the horizon, it's not noticable.
Just up the road is St. Davids, which has already been mentioned and is lovely.

Basically avoid Milford Haven at all costs and you'll be OK.

Pembrokeshire is really nice...Like cornwall but without the crowds. Haverfordwest/St Davids area is all good.
You should do the boat trip from near St Davids around the island to see seals and porpoises...excellent to see, and an exhillerating ride as well

you want to go to Newport Pembs, great place...if you need a nice cottage I know of one
