Half-past bloody midnight and I get a text from what seems to be a regular mobile number (Vodaphone) which reads:

[sic]

!!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery - Please Call Now On
+4382091921605 For Delivery Tomorrow
International Parcel Deliveries

Sent from 07765 680 992

Just dialled it (the moby - not the +43) and it rings out to voicemail.

Is there anywhere I can forward this too?

Could be a wrong number....

If I were you, I'd delete the message, burn the phone, change your name and get some plastic surgery.

Do you have many or unlimited texts as part of your mobile contract?

Just send the same message back to the original sender every 10 minutes throughout the day. Then report it to Vodafone smile

I'd rather send my spares to more worthy recipients tbh.

Was reading something about a scam like this. It involved ringing a number which cost you a ridiculous amount as soon as it connected!

ETA possibly not the same one, as iirc it asked you to ring an 0906... (or similar) premium rate number. As you were.

This is a scam, i've been done by this. At first i thought it was ok to call, but it ended up costing me £40 extra in phone bills and i only called it back a couple of times over two days.
Your phone company should be able to confirm that this number is a scam.

Unless you live in Austria then it's a scam. If you live in Austria and don't remember ordering anything that's to be delivered in a large parcel then it's a scam. If however you ordered a fridge freezer last week and live in Austria then it might be worth giving them a call.
