We have LPG instead of mains at home and whilst it seems expensive I just wondered what the "average" gas bill is for a month/year?

We have two 1250ltr tanks and after having them filled in Jan we have just had them refilled. In Jan it cost me £370, I'm expecting nearer £500 this time though as prices have gone up. We normally burn wood as it's a fairly old house and very badly insulated but at least it seems comparable.

Blimey, why are your bills so cheap? They're almost half what I pay

Typical bill for me is £5 gas and £11 elec per month.

However, I am only home two days a week. The gas is off the majority of the year as I have an elec shower so no need for other hot water as the washing maching and dishwasher are both mains fed.

£50 per month here (working couple in a terraced 3 bed).

Although just had a new combi put in, so should hopefully come down a bit - Not had a bill through yet to compare usage.
