I bought the magazine last night for the first time in a long while.
Who's your favourite character, and a memorable line from their strip?

I'll start:

Rude Kid

Mum: what would you like for breakfast Dear?
RK: P1ss up a rope, fukstick!

Currently it's a choice between The Drunken Bakers, Fru T Bun or the boys own adventure stuff of Jack Black and his dog Silver.

Postman Plod, never a truer character...

Also I loved the piss takes they did of the Franklin Mint. Anyone remember the ad for the "Elvis Presley Dam Busters Clock Plate of Tutankhamen" made by the Murray Mint?

Kind of a character, but Roger's Profanisaurus Rex book. Got to be THE funniest book of all time. Sits on my desk at work and I choose a random word every so often, keeps the office in stitches every time.

HIGHLY recommended as a stocking filler, if you know someone into childish/rude/toilet humour.

Impossibly hard to choose between Johnny Fartpants, Buster Gonad, Finbarr Saunders and Roger Mellie.

I haven't seen Viz for years though, so I don't know if these characters are still going.

"Mumraa" - The act of going up behind your mum and shouting "Raaa!"

"Stabbing a kitten".....the same as feeding the ducks but with the emphasis on the downstroke....

Quality stuff.

Yep, still going.
I suggest you put the Christmas Hardback Annual on your Dear Santa list this year.
