I laughed nearly as much when met by the Greater Manchester 'nuclear free zone' signs back in the 80s.

Delusion is endemic. They are tackling nothing just reducing their own credibility even further.

I wish these people would just fk off, that would make me very angry if I saw it around our way. It's the sort of thing that could quite easily tempt an ordinary law abiding citizen into performing an act of graffiti.

Ask them what the carbon footprint of the sign is - how much energy was expended in it's manufacture and how they think it's existence will offset that.

Yes, I could just imagine the Soviets removing the co-ordinates from their targeting computers when they did that

I wonder how much useful diagnostic and life saving equipment in the hospitals was shipped out of the area too?
