Great film, but very compromised when you've seen it a couple of times.

I still think it is as good as it first was.

Yes its not perfect but one of the few films that treats its audience like adults.

I think its fantastic, why would you say it is compromised out of interest? Love spotting the spliced in frames.....

In what way "compromised"?

For a Merrykin film, it has a satisfyingly gritty reality about it.

I really like Fight Club, but for good old fashioned violence which, let's face it, is enjoyable from time to time, Dean Man's Shoes is my pick.

Smashing film, I enjoyed the book too.

The first film to feature terrorism after 9/11 too.

Not as bad as the first matrix film, fk me I had to watch it 3 times to understand what the hell was going on!

I think it's better than I first thought it was.

I liked it until it ended. And it ended so perfectly that I then liked it more.

When I have watched it subsequently, many times, I have liked it even more.

I am at almost Die Hard levels of film-liking with it now.

Don't think so it was made in 1999 ! unless by 9/11 you mean 9th november 1998... but don't know what relevance that has !!

Everytime I watch it I see more spliced in bits. Wish I had some sort of trick DVD player so I could stop it and see what they are. When I was watching it last night, in the scene where he gets a hug off Meatloaf I'm sure I saw a bloke wearing a Guantanamo style orange jumpsuit flash up behind him for a split second.....
