girlfriend txting an ex.......

seens as though this seems to be a relationship based website (or close to it....) i thought i'd put a post up and see what everyone else thinks...
long story cut short, girlfriend of 8 months (best 8 months i had with a gf before) is away at uni, same place as her ex of 2 years who she's been away from for over a year now. i know she met him to clear the air when she got back down there, was fine with that however, i though somethin had been going on as she wasnt her self wen she came back this wk end, so i did the stupid thing of checking her phone - not like me, dont usually care much. got quite a few messages on there from this guy, not loads but still, and in the last one it said want to see you soon. now i've not told her i saw them obviosuly, but we spoke about him at the wk end and i've made it obvious i dont want her to see / speak to him - no need afterall.
how do i play it?

She's at uni. You are not. She will be out on the pull. She will certainly not stay faithful.

k did you expect posting that, here?Seen similar situations from both sides and basically, in the short term at least, there's nothing you can do. I'm taking it that you and your O/H are somewhere in the 18 - 21 yr old bracket and, at that age, it's too early to fully settle down IMHO.
You could get a quick revenge shag in, to make yourself feel better if/when she does ditch you, but that might backfire terribly if it transpires she's been faithful after all.
You'll have to decide whether to trust her, but at the same time you can't let her blatantly give you the run around.
