Toothache is terrible, i feel genuinely sorry for you.
You need to go to a shop and buy some powerful painkillers, and get to a dentist asap.

Mouthwash, I find listerene works, also swilling water round the painful area can help.

Some Strong 400mg Ibuprofen tablets (You can take 800mg every 6 hours) and combine them with paramol (Paracetemol and Codeine).

Nothing you can do about toothache maybe take some Cocodamol, even if it is still hurting after you finish work you can't go to the hospital as they do not have the specialists to help you would have to wait all night before you can get to see some Savage who wants to poke around in your mouth. Emergency shoot dentist!!! eek

Normal painkillers should be enough. Don't just live with it, though. It could be an absess which could lead to something worse if not dealt with quickly. After hearing so many horror stories about root canal work that hurt even though the victim patient had 3-4 injections, I was bricking it. Fortunately, I had booked an appointment with the dentist as soon as I had the pain and it was dealt with in a very pain-free fashion. smile

(I was also informed that had I left it long enough, it could swell and block the airway! yikes )

Find the roughest pub you can. Go in, identify the most psychotic looking patron and spill his pint while ogling his girlfriend.

The tooth will be removed at the same time as you slip into unconsciousness.

Was in the same situation a few weeks ago.

Paramol for the pain.
Then Clove oil to put on the tooth / gum area.
Worked for me.

Cold water swilled around your mouth. If its an infection this will cause the tooth to shrink very slightly and relive the pressure thereby reducing the pain. Only works for a short time though so you will need to keep swilling.

To avoid pissing all night spit out water after rinsing.

Alternative - Pliers and a stong mate.
