I'm not on the list, I don't agree with BNP policy, and I think it's all a bunch of racist arse. However this is bang out of order.
How would you feel if some greenies got hold of the details of everyone with a >3litre car and published them online, phone numbers, your kids names your address, hobbies, etc???

The only problem I have with this is that it is most likely wrong.
The moron who I bought my house off over a year ago was a member of this bunch of tossers. I recently found out when accidentally opened a letter which had been sent to him by them.
Of course I immediately retuned this to them with an appropriate covering letter but I doubt they updated their details in time for my address not to be on the list. Oh joy of joys.
Should I now be panicking like a paediatrician from Preston?

Wouldnt bother me, what are they going to do, throw lentils at me?Not sure why you have included children in your example though, its not reported that the BNP member list holds that information.

I still think it's wrong, kids details or otherwise. Just because I'm not actually ashamed of my hobbies/lifestyle (for those that skimmed my first post, that's nothing to do with the BNP) it doesn't mean I want those sorts of personal details leaked round the internet for anyone to get hold of them. Would you really like it if I put into free circulation: Marf, real name whatever, address, phone number, etc.That's not an actual dig at you personally, as the thread starter yours was the only name that popped into my head from the thread.

It would make me uncomfortable, but in reality would it matter to me? Not really no. I'm not a member of a political party which precludes me from certain occupations, nor labels me (rightly or wrongly) as a fascist/racist.I would imagine that the principle aside, that most of the party members who are worried about this leak either don't want people to know they are card carrying members of the BNP, or stand to lose their job because of it.
