I'm working away from home for the moment and next week I'm in berlin so won't be back for 2 weeks so I was thinking about taking the OH away for the weekend to keep her off my back about it.

Anyone got any ideas for a decent modern/contemporary hotel/cottage I could stay at for a couple of nights, not really bothered where it is but near ish to London would be best.

Personally I'm fed up with hotels but living in a small shared flat will provide very little peace over the weekend so any ideas will be greatly appreciated...

You should try www.mrandmrssmith.com - I've heard good things about their hotels.

Stayed here and it was nice. The greeting by the owner did feel a bit like she was deciding if she wanted to swing with us...and the bed was a bit noisy. So dont sit on the sofa in the 4 poster bedroom.... Getting the OH out of the bathroom was a struggle as she liked it too much.

Great breakfast as well.

Plus if you go to the Spa in town you can watch at least 2 lesbian couples frolic in the roof top pool.

Dirty weekend you say?

Check this out. Just had a alleged £25m refurb for 9 bedrooms and a restaurant. It's the first place I've walked into for a long time that has actually made me speechless!

25 mins from London.

Just a bit of a left-of-field thought, but since you're in Berlin, why not find somewhere decent there and get the Mrs to 'meet' you there?

My O/H was working in Chantilly the other year and I flew in to Paris to 'meet' up with her for the weekend. It was fantastic, like having a woman on the side, but without the guilt! evil

Thats for the 3rd girl to sleep in cos you want a bit more space in the bed to get some kip before round 7 - 13 tomorrow night.

I was going to suggest this but I haven't managed to visit there yet myself.

Have you been? If so, what's it like?

I havent got there but know a couple of people who have and they said the playroom was excellent.

I aint going to a place like that on my own..!!! although I did stay at a Love Hotel in Japan on my own.scratchchin

I remember ages ago I found a hotel that had Swings over the beds - but I cannot find it now and its annoying me.
