A different what TV question
Discussion
Am, like everyone else it seems, looking to get a new TV.
At the moment we live in Luxembourg, do not use local TV service but have a well known satellite company providing TV.
Problem is this.
Do I buy a UK spec TV - they have a slightly different system? - or just buy here?
I'd rather go for a plasma screen job the Panasonic would get my vote on price and picture quality, but I know that brings problems on transportation. Has to be kept upright?
What difference does a european spec TV make on returning to the UK?
Is there anything else that should be considered?

Yes, Derestrictor wouldn't let me collect mine with my estate car because the load area was too low to let it stand up. The man knows these things...Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
