Ouch, stupidly i was washing up and had my hand half in a glass when it smashed..

Its cut the top of my hand a little deep and all round the bottom of my thumb.

so Ive put some plasters on it and its stooped bleeding but my hands cold and a bit numb - a bit like when i'm giving blood is this normal?

it doesn't hurt but is just uncomfortable, is it normal to be cold?

cheers guy

When you had your hand in the glass was it half full of hand, or half empty?

If it was half full, the coldness is probably no big deal, and psychosomatic fears...

If it was half empty, then you have probably contracted glass aids, and your hand will soon drop off..............

If its cold its because:

  • You have cold washing up water
  • You dont have any blood left to keep it warm
  • You are an insect
HTH

PS how about applying a plaster to stop the blood a bit and take yourself down to A and E instead of looking for a virtual fix on a bloody website...

Well you have got two of them so I wouldnt worry too much. If it starts going green and smelling you can always have it chopped off.

And what do you think is the normal thing to do if you've cut yourself badly?

If you cannot tell whether or not you are bleeding to death, do us a favour and leave it as it is...

Hold the injured one in the air to stem the blood and use the good one to post on here. Everybody knows that smile

Pretend the wound is a menstrating minge and fk it.

That should stop the bleeding, and warm it up at the same time.

I think it's best if you finish yourself off and run the glass firmly across your neck.

Try not to make a mess though as someone will have to clean that up after you. Maybe get in the bath or something.

rofl at thread.

Cold or tingly probably means show it to a medic.

Can you move fingers, thumb etc normally?

Now now... I drink beer, screw around on the interweb, drive a fast and fuel inefficient car so I am fully qualified to sort this guy out.

Your hand is fked, suggest you replace it.
