What the hell do I do to get through the day? Had a bacon and egg roll and feeling slightly more human but any other suggestions welcome. At the moment I'm staring vacantly out my window, and have been for the past hour, so any suggestions? Might invent a site meeting and go and sleep in the sun on the beach for a bit.

Work functions on a thursday night are an absolute killer.

Have you passed the toast test?

If I can eat a piece of toast, I know it'll be OK. I find flat, cold coke works a treat.

Very true, hair of the dog never fails however long the first one takes to get rid of. I did have a better solution though, and thats to stop drinking.

Plenty of water, couple of paracetamol, stay away from bright lights and remember how you feel now for next time.

I would kill for one right now. Amazing stuff. But I can't track it down in this god foresaken country.

I passed the toast test so far. Hasn't come up for a repeat viewing so I'm hoping for the best.

Throw a Snickers bar in there and you should be fine.

The only cure for me:

Lots of very sweet tea (I drink from a pint mug anyway)
A mahoosive greasy breakfast
More tea
OJ or cordial

Grog bog

The last one is the most important

Nothing like a grog bog at work.

Luckily half the office is feeling as bad as me so there's no real virtuous sods walking around making loud noises. Because I would have to kill them

Enough to make me wish that it was grey and drizzle outside and that I didn't have a seat by the window.
