OK, own up. Who's still got some of this kit?

From the DT.

The mullet hairstyle, beloved of 1980s footballers and disc jockeys, has been voted the cringeworthy craze of all time.

The Top Ten Most Ridiculous Crazes Of All Time are:

1. The mullet hairstyle

2. Shell suits

3. Crazy Frog ring tone

4. The bubble perm

5. Tamagotchi virtual pets

6. Reality television

7. The Macarena dance

8. Ponchos

9. Adidas popper tracksuits

10. MySpace, Facebook etc

11. Cabbage soup diet

12. Lava lamps

13. Global Hypercolor t-shirts

14. Leg warmers

15. Bum bag

16. Ugg boots

17. Curtains - men's hairstyle

18. Cabbage Patch Kids

19. Pokemon

20. Pop Swatch

I'll own up and admit I still like Lava lamps.

As a 14 year old I was much more interested in using it as an excuse to get women to put their hands all over me.

No 13, shudder.

A rather erm, portly friend of my mums once wore a global hypercolour t-shirt. It would proudly display her ample areolae in a bright orange colour.

I've still got a Lava Lamp!

But, yes, all the rest can be rounded up, put in a field, and bombed from space.

2. Shell suits - Been there, done that.

6. Reality television - Dabbled with it.

10. MySpace, Facebook etc - Guilty as charged (MySpace only for music though)

14. Leg warmers - I must admit to being partial to a fit girl in these in a nostalgic '80s sort of way.

17. Curtains - men's hairstyle - Same time as the shell suit

I used to have the curtains hair... well undercut anyway... Still got facebook... don't know why people would be against that, though its cringing for most of the other stuff..

I was never allowed one of the those hyper thingy t-shirts... how neglecting of my parents....

Just the lava lamp for me.
Still got it in the kitchen, and don't care if it's not *in* any more as I like the way the bubbley-oily bits move about biggrin
Anyway, its an original from the 70's (?) I found in a skip, so who'se laughing wink

Possibly even from the sixties - my other half still has an original 'Nordic' style Lava Lamp in orange to go with the shag-pile carpet of the era.

Is there anything dafter than 'Finish' dishwasher cleaner? What, as far as the detergent and water is concerned, is the difference between the walls and racks of the machine and surfaces of the crockery? If the plates are cleaned by the machine, how come the inside of the machine itself needs a special cleaner?

I had the curtains haircut many years ago, added some highlights just to polish off the gay look
