Good Evening All,
I have just telephoned a lovely girl at the most Royalist of mail delivery companies. I have a mail redirection setup with them from my UK address to the Hotel that has been my home in Munich since July. I rang them to change the redirection from the hotel to my new apartment on the other side of town.
The girl tells me that it is not possible to change the address and I have to set up a new redirection. I said that's ok, can you refund me my remaining months (8). She said its not possible to refunded and I have to pay the full amount at the new address.
Am I wrong to be a bit pissed off at this? How hard can it be to change the entry on the database to a different location in the same city? Is this just a easy way for them to make money or am I just being tight? Do you think its worth ringing and asking to speak to a manager? (not that I am any good at that sort of thing)

Royal Mail are the worst company on the face of the planet. All I expect from them these days is massive incompetance, and they never disappoint me.
I have problems with them weekly, this week I'm missing some tickets for a show tomorrow that were posted on the 17th.
As an example of the average intelligence of a Royal Mail employee, one of their monkey-mailmen buzzed the intercom the other day, so I let him in thinking he had a parcel. As I walked to the door 3 letters flew through the post flap...
...we have mailboxes downstairs.
