Favourite toys when you where a kid

I had loads of toys during my childhood but there are a few that stick in my mind.

Race 'n' Chase
Super Flightdeck
Crossfire

I asked for a Big track when I was ten for christmas but never got one. It's only years later that I found out they cost a massive £90 back in the late 70's. It's probably for the same reason that I never recieved a TCR set.

Strangely enough, probably my home built go kart, or my bike, Scalextric, Hornby railway, or Lego.

All traditional stuff!

Pfffhhh - you were one of those posh kids that got the best of everything.

I had Flightdeck (not the Super version) which was ok - a bit crap frankly.
I had an Aurora (sp?) slot car track (wanted Scalextric - parents failed to deliver). Wasn't half bad. Good fun.
1st generation hand-held Space-invaders (with the green florescent screen) - magic.

My favorite toy was a BigTrak WITH the Trailer. I still have it and I've had several mates come round and almost turn green with envy before we fill it with about a thousand batteries and have a play. I'm 38 BTW!
