Armathwaithe Hall or other recommendations- Weekend break?

As above, anyone been to Armathwaithe Hall for a weekend break ?

Anyone used the spa there?

Other recomendation would be considered!!

It doesn't have a spa, but Hipping Hall, on the edge of Kirby Lonsdale, is superb. The food is the best I've had, and the rooms are pretty special too.

Hi I have been to A Hall............its lovely, the bathrooms have jaccuzi baths with built in tv's in the walls, the lounge downstairs is wood panneled with big fires, and the restaraunt overlooks the lake.


Very much reccomended.

Try historic house hotels.

All very nice.

Also been to Seaham Hall which was quite nice, the other half at the time enjoyed the Spa.

Benn to A Hall as well, had a great time. The room we stayed in looked out over the lake, I think it was on the top floor and the Jacuzzi was huge! The food was great as well, but I was there about 6 years ago so not very up to date. Based on my stay, I would recommend it for a romantic / dirty weekend away!
