Croupy type cough whenever I have paracetamol, ideas?

Bit of a strange one.

Over the last couple of years, every time I take paracetamol I develop a very annoying tickle in my throat which makes me cough.

I don't have the same reaction to other paracetamol related drugs - but it's bloody annoying as I've just had a lemsip this morning and now I'm coughing like a trooper!

Just wondered if anyone else ever suffered from this?

Yes it appears to be the only solution! But 99% of the products out there that actually work, contain it.

Maybe if you take two it'll numb it! Either that or co-medicate it with Strepsils or some other god awful wretch inducing cough sweet
