Sure that's clever, but light pastry filled with minced beef and onion..it's a special thing in my mind.

Going to the moon was clever too, but I've needed to eat pies more often than I've been to the moon.

Learning how to grind the Cayenne pepper.

Shortly followed by how to milk cows.

Isn't that the cow's achievement? Quick we need a new thread!

And the brave (or possibly perverted) person that found out a cow was 'milkable' in the first place...

....and then his excuse for what he was doing when he found it was possible!

A pie is a pie. No matter how human the content.

Anyone who's been out in Reading will vigorously defend Sweeny's pie ability.

And share laughs about the perennially dying waitress.

+1. I hope you ask her to repeat the menu. You can't quite remember the first one, right?

But NZ pies largely st on anything found in Reading. Had most of a foot-round steak pie for dinner and mid morning snack. Bloody marvelous. And all the pie shops are just as good as each other. I'm going to get fat in this country.

Steak and cheese? Or just steak? Perhaps both.

Once the recession is over, I'm going to open a pie shop.

ETA. Yes. Fact.

Australian/NZ pies are far superior to the muck you lot get.

I'll open a colonial pie shop. Get you lot to taste what a real pie should be.

Apparently pasties were designed for miners so they had a whole, energy packed meal but as an easy to eat food. Personally I think that'a a reason for pasties to be mans greatest achievement (not sure if thats how pies came to be)
