Central heating problem - airlock?

Had my central heating flushed last week, was ok for a few days but now the upstairs radiators are hot, all downstairs ones cold, I think it might be an airlock but there's so much conflicting advice on google I'm totally confused as to how to clear it.
Have bled all the radiators but no improvement, any (useful) advice welcomed.

How many circ pumps do you have? Is it a duel zone system with upstairs and downstairs thermostats. My downstairs system had zone valves and one had become stuck. See if you can hear the valves opening.

One pump, one thermostat in hallway.
Sodding plumber is ignoring my messages, at this rate it's going to be a chilly weekend

What extra details are needed? I'm a bit of a numpty with plumbing

Try balancing the rads, they may have been unbalanced when flushing.

I'm assuming you have a hot water tank? It is not a Combi boiler? Are you getting Hot water?

Try turning off the upstairs rads and see if the downstairs rads get hot?

Is the pump spinning? Maybe it is F88Ked and the hot water is just rising to the upstairs?

If the pump has a dial turn it up full usually 1,2,3.

Easy thing to try is to turn off the rads that are working, and see if the other ones get hot. If they do, then they need to be balanced.

Sounds very like an airlock.
Turn off all rads except one that isn't working.
Make sure pump is on maximum setting.
Select 'Heating' only on the programmer.
Close any bypass valves in the system (if the above doesn't shift it).
Once the rad gets hot, close it and open another non-working one.
