Can Anyone Recommend Brakes for Standard Ford Focus

Hi, could anyone give advice on front discs for a Ford Focus 2003. It's a road car, used only on the road, so nothing spectacular, but I see companies like EBC have some pretty bad reviews.

I'm wondering what would be best for it, whether to get the Ford parts (Motorcraft?) or whether companies like Partco are any good or to go for higher performance parts and which are best.

Road car.......Used on the road........Not quick anyway........Standard brakes do the job fine.

I think the question is "Ford part or Pattern part?". And frankly so long as it's from a big brand go with whats cheapest.

Aslong as it stops in a resonable time Then i would just go standard parts

Yup, I'd thoroughly recommend them, stopping can be tricky if you have to rely on sticking your foot out of the door.

Minor modulation of speed can also be acheived by sticking one (or both) hands out the driver's window -airbrakes. Be prepared to steer left a bit (with your knee) to couteract the car pulling to the right.

I could have probably phrased it a bit better. I had previously read a post about tyre makes from the far east and wondered whether the same applied to brakes - i.e. sub-standard obscure makes that are best avoided.

Airbrakes?
If you stuck a paddle out of both the windows you'd get more even braking.
