Just got blocked from Facebook IM

I appreciate a lot of folks here don't "get" Facebook, but this is a new one on me :

Very common. You need to slow down or you will be suspended permanently i.e. banned. This is a major pain with Facebook since they never tell anyone what the "safe" limits are. The same thing applies for all functions e.g. adding friends - send too many requests and you're considered a spammer. Clearly a crude and ineffective filtering system that needs to be improved since the place is still sadly full of spam.

I chat to a couple of people maybe 3 times a week. And that trips the filters?

More to the point, why don't they have a warning facility in place? Talk about amateurs.

Sounds like an eroneous error, my wife takes up most of FB's band-width and nary a bad comment/word/error message!
