You should ask your solicitor to TT the money to you so as long as your buyer pays in good time you should then get cleared funds in your account the same day.

You'll probably get charged somewhere between £20 and £30 plus VAT for the transfer and most TT's have to be instigated before 3.30pm although there is some variation depending on the banks involved.
