Is Mumbai style the way forward for terrorists now?

What a terrible tragedy in Mumbai, but a result for terrorists the world over.

I must admit I've often wondered why they jump through hoops to create fancy bombs and dastardly plots when guns are so easily available. Surely if someone doesn't care about their own life all they need to do is pick up some weapons on the black market and go on a random killing spree, almost Hungerford style? It would be so easy to do, I wonder why they haven't done it before.

It was hardly a succesful operation, population of Mumbai, 13,000,000, number of caualties, 140, odds of getting killed by terorists similar to winning the lottery.

It won't happen in this country as it wouldn't be that easy to stockpile the hardware.

1. I play the lottery every week
2. IDGARA what the odds are 140 innocent people were killed for no good reason other, perhaps, than the fact that tey were not true believers in which ever inaginary friend is required.
3. Where there is a will there is a way. Our borders are an open door. how many illegal weapons are already in circulation in this country?

It maybe easy to get some guns, though I doubt lots of machine guns are that easy to come by, but it would be much harder to get your hands on thousands of rounds like these guys had.
