What would be the worst driver/cargo combination?

We have had the suggestion of Gary Glitter driving a schoolbus but are there any more sights you would just NOT want to see on the M1?

Peter Kay driving a bakery van?

Gordon Brown driving a Securicor van?

Worst thing to see blasting up the M1? Would have to be Stevie Wonder in his new Sunseeker!

Its called a joke . . now if we are to go down the pc list of joke targets are you really insisting peodophiles should be a protected group.

Do you really want an 'ist' inventing for peodophiles?

We can't do racist we can't do homophobic and now apparently we can't do peodophobia!!!

fer chrissakes give me strength..

It was a joke , slightly sick perhaps but that is the whole point of a joke. to add a twist to the normal or it wouldn't be funny...

any more pedants out there?

maybe not, but I love the way a total dhead comes out of the woodwork and cries "Bad taste"....

FFS, shall we ban all discussion and jokes cos they are not to somebodies taste? Whayt a boring world it would be....that may suit some people, though.

I agree mate.

I don't really like the paedo jokes myself but I try to accept that most other posters don't seem to get offended by them so it's probably just me.

I expect I find other sick stuff funny that other posters would get offended by.

In fact just the other day a nice old lady nearly drove into me and I shouted. "I hope you crash" and then to my wife I said "Never mind, she'll probably be dead soon" my wife was disgusted but I found it hilarious.

The British way of dealing with things they don't like is to make jokes about it. It defuses tension. It also helped get us through two world wars. If we're not allowed to make jokes, then we will have to find other ways of dealing with things, and that might be much worse than making jokes.

+1

and believe it or not some Germans have a sense of humour......

"The dictator would often break from the serious nature of waging his campaign to "pull the legs" of his entourage of generals and hangers on.

His favourite victim was the Luftwaffe chief Herman Goering, who was notoriously fond of awarding himself medals and decorations.

According to the book by the last surviving member of his bunker, Hitler recounted how Mrs Goering found her husband waving a baton over his underwear in the bedroom and asked him what he was doing.

"He replied: "I am promoting my underpants to OVERpants"", Hitler then joked"

To say nothing of Stalin

Stalin himself cracked [jokes], including this one about a visit from a Georgian delegation: They come, they talk to Stalin, and then they go, heading off down the Kremlin's corridors. Stalin starts looking for his pipe. He can't find it. He calls in Beria, the dreaded head of his secret police. "Go after the delegation, and find out which one took my pipe," he says. Beria scuttles off down the corridor. Five minutes later Stalin finds his pipe under a pile of papers. He calls Beria--"Look, I've found my pipe."

"It's too late," Beria says, "half the delegation admitted they took your pipe, and the other half died during questioning."
