Mont Blanc Pens

I want to put a Mont Blanc pen on my Xmas list but a quick internet search seems to pull up more fakes and questionable sources than anything else.

Their website seems to only show MB boutiques and not just official dealers which there must be loads.

Has anybody purchasered on the web and can make reccomendations or can find a list of authorised sellers.

All these stores sell them in the Trafford Centre so I would assume at least one of them has an online shop (but haven't checked)

ETA: If you struggle to find a Mont Blanc it's worth checking out Visconti and Lamy as they make very nice pens too.

AFAIR, no official MB dealer is allowed to trade on line. Therefore, anything listed should be thoroughly looked into before spending out...

We have one each and both purchased from MB shops.
Not worth the risk as they are very expensive pens. But to be fair i have had mine over three years now and its still beautiful. Gives signing papers a real sense of occasion.

Theres a nice shop in Nottingham called Pen Sense. Also Whites jewellers in Derby do Mont Blancs too.

Good luck finding one! Just be warned once you get one you will want another and another!!

I'd love an expensive fountain pen but realised today that the last time I wrote anything of significant size was last year... yep, Christmas cards. Used to use a fountain pen for signing stuff (you can't beat the feel of the way the ink flows from a decent fountain pen) but every time I use it, the damned thing's dried up.

Agreed .At a grand each mine stay in the safe. Not Mb though i dont think.

LOL! I admit I've got a Mont Blanc and a Cartier, love them.

Don't really sign stuff but I love writing so use them all the time (mine aren't in great condition I will admit but well used!) fountain pens are just lovely to write with.
