Electric razors

I need a new electric razor for Christmas. Anybody got any reccomendations?

My current one has a long flat head, but having looked in Comet yesterday 99% of them have the 3 circular blades. Are these as easy to shave with?? I remember my grandad having one with circular blades years ago!

I find the 3 head better than the single long head.
There are a lot of things to look at, like if the heads move or are fixed. Some have moisturisers built in. Some are formula 1 models!

None are any good.

They all leave me with patches of stubble and a neck that looks like it has been shredded with a DA sander.

Pretty much agree. I've yet to find one that will shave as nicely as even the most basic cheapo throwaway razor and some decent shaving gel. They're good for quick top ups in the morning, but if you're like me and regularly go few days without saving, they're crap

Still very happy with my Braun (6522) though I might get a fresh blade kit for it for Xmas. It is a double-foil cutter design and it does the job very well.

I have Remington MS5800 which is a traditional head but withtwo wode strips and one narrow one. Latter also lifts up to get to arkward spots.

Seems to work very well as long as you don't try and rush!

I dont know what mine is called, but its a Philips and as mentioned earlier is an F1 version

Has 3 small rotary heads that move independently.

I have just bought a phillips three head thing for about £50 from Boots.

Seems the foil head ones are cheaper and I had one years ago where the foil got holes in and chopped lumps out of my face.

I avoided the ones that require fancy oozing fluids because in 2 years time when they have moved on to some new oozing fluid I think supplies might be an issue. The new one seems quieter and more efficient than my old one and is waterporrf which helps when flushing the crap out.
